REVIEW: Cress by Marissa Meyer

Book Three of the Lunar Chronicles

Book Blurb:

In this third book in the Lunar Chronicles, Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, now with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they’re plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and her army.
Their best hope lies with Cress, a girl imprisoned on a satellite since childhood who's only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker. Unfortunately, she’s just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.

When a daring rescue of Cress goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing prevent her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only hope the world has.

The Review: OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! Just what can I say about this book that hasn't been said before. I LOVED this book. This book in the series continues where Scarlet left off. The wedding between Kai and Levana is being planned as we read. The gang is still on the run and we get to meet a new character named Cress. Cress has been kept prisoner inside a satellite in space using her hacking skills to serve Queen Levana. Tired of being held prisoner she ends up helping Cinder and the gang on their quest. Levana is still a nasty piece of work and I hope she gets what's coming to her in book four. I really don't want to write anymore on this review as I don't want to reveal anymore spoilers than I already have.

I recommend that if your enjoy reading fairytale/future books that you go pick up the entire series. They are so worth it. So mad I have to wait til November to read the last book.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
